Upon enrollment, a CVA Academic Advisor is assigned to your student and will guide the process of designing a personalized Written Student Learning Plan (WSLP) for your student.

CVA currently offers book/paper and online courses to selected grades. Grades K-8 courses are book/paper and/or online, and grades 9-12 are online.

Once the WSLP is approved and your student's enrollment is finalized, materials identified in the WSLP (if applicable) will be shipped to your door. We begin shipping materials 30 days prior to the course start date.

After school starts, your CVA teacher will fine tune your student's WSLP by providing or recommending supplemental materials if and where it is necessary to meet specific academic needs.

As soon as your student completes a course, you return the materials, at CVA expense, to CVA-Central. You may retain materials if your student does not finish the course by the end of the school year, provided that your student has a completed enrollment for the following year and the materials you are retaining are listed in the student's new learning plan.

Return Instructional Resources

As a public education program, CVA covers the cost for each of the curriculum options listed on the student's WSLP. Please note that some curriculum materials may have been previously used by other CVA students. However, CVA will only distribute materials considered to be in good condition.
